The African American Museum is located at 3536 Grand Avenue in Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. Exhibits chronicle African American history and culture with emphasis on the Dallas area. "Facing the Rising Sun: Freedman's Cemetery" is included in their collection. Opened Tuesday through Friday from 12 PM to 5 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 5 PM and Sunday from 1 PM to 5 PM. The Age of Steam Railroad Museum is located at 1105 Washington Avenue in Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. Including the world's largest steam locomotive, Dallas oldest existing train depot and the Texas Eagle Superliner II passenger train; this outdoor museum offers a self-guided audio tour of yesterday's train transportation. Opened fron Wednesday through Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM. Admission cost: Adults $5.00 and Children 3 to 12 $2.50. Children under 3 - free. $7 for guided and audio tours.
